Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get an appointment?

Getting an appointment is easy. Just call us at 347-480-5287. It is way faster than waiting for an email. Since we have six different locations, just tell us which one is closest to you, and we will find a time that works.

We know heart problems are scary, and you cannot afford to wait. We try to keep spots for emergency patients to get a same-day appointment or the next day. Call the office today so we can check a spot for you.

We take most of the big plans in New York. Insurance is confusing, so just have your card ready when you call. We can check your coverage for you before you even show up for your visit.

We have six spots so you don’t have to travel far. We are in Ozone Park, Flushing, Williamsburg, Avenue U, and McDonald Ave in Brooklyn. We also have a place in Hicksville on Long Island.

Bring your ID and your insurance card. If you take any meds, bring a list of those too—it really helps the doctor. Also, if you have old test results from another clinic, bring a copy along.

We use the eClinical Patient Portal. It is the easiest way to see your tests as soon as they are ready. If you can’t get the portal to work, just call us and we will help you out.

If you have chest pain or feel like something is really wrong, call 911 right now. Don’t wait for an appointment or send an email if it is a real emergency.

In the city, you’ll usually be looking for street parking near the office. If you are going to our Hicksville office, there is a parking lot right there for you.

If we didn’t answer what you needed, just give us a shout. Call 347-480-5287 or email office@nyheartandvascular.com and we will get back to you.
