Keeping your info safe
At New York Heart and Vascular Care, we know how important each patient’s data is. We only collect your data to provide you with the care in the best way possible. We know your medical details are personal, that’s why we try hard to keep them safe and locked. This page tells you how we handle the info we get from you.
What we collect:
When you use our site or come to our office, we ask for things like:
- Your name and how to reach you (phone and email).
- Your insurance info so we can bill for your visits.
- We need your medical history so we can treat you properly.
How we use it:
We only use your info to take care of you. We use it to:
- Set up your doctor visits.
- Call or text you with reminders.
- Deal with insurance companies for you.
- Share results with you or your other doctors.
We do not sell your info
We are doctors, not data sellers. We will never sell your name or phone number to outside companies. The only people who see your info are the ones helping with your medical care.
Your records and the law
We follow all HIPAA rules. These are federal laws that make sure your medical records stay private. We use secure systems so that only people who are supposed to see your records can get to them.
Changes
If we change how we do things, we will update this page. You can check back here anytime to see our current rules.
